Highlight an order in DS planning board/ PPT1 planning board

Hi Guys,

My requirement is to pass order(s) from my report to DS planning board and "highlight" orders in the dashboard.

I have following option to work out:

1) I am calling '/SAPAPO/PPT1' transaction from my program and passing Resource using a BDC. Is there any option to pass orders and highlight them in  dashboard?

2) Calling "/SAPAPO/CDPS0' from my report and passing order number(here we can pass order number in selection screen). But this order will not highlighting in the dashboard rather can see many orders there. Is there any option to highlight this particular order(s) alone in the dashboard?

Hi Shibu,

that's the way it is done manually in the Detailed
Scheduling Planning Board:

1. In the DS
   planning board, choose Edit-> Find ->Find…
2. On the Enhanced Search Functions make the following entries:

Search   Crit.		Order Number
Order   Number		Enter order number <Order Number>	Delete any displayed   number and enter the previously noted number or use keys CTRL and V.

3. Choose Enter.

Result

The order is highlighted in the Product
Chart and the operations of the order are highlighted in the Resources Chart.

Thanks Frank. Now I have the option to automate the same process with BDC. That should work...
