Dear Experts,
My client asked me to add new cost center to their existing cost center hierarchy?
I just wonder what would be the impact like?
Does anyone has any idea?
regards,
Abraham
Hi,
There is no harm to add one or more new cost centers to your existing std Hierarchy

Abraham,
Adding a new cost center will be okay; but you will have to identify the processes in which this cost center would be used. For. e.g. there could be some allocations which may use certain cost center groups and you may have a need to add this new cost center to those groups depending on your requirment. If you need to make some postings to this cost center automatically, you would need to make additions to your automatic a/c assignment. There could be some reports which may have an existing variant and might need modification.
Thanks,
Avinash
