Configuration problem the Application Server in NWDS

Hi experts,

I have the next situation I hope you can help me. I need to upgrade to SAP PI 7.31 EHP1.

I need to deploy an ear file from Adapter Module project in the new SAP PI version 7.31 EHP1.

I have an Adapter Module project in NWDS 7.1 and I configuring the application Server in NWDS, when I configuring the application server from PI version 7.30 works fine.

But, the problem is in the new installation of the new SAP PI version 7.31. When I click (Windows->Preferences->SAP AS Java) and I configuring the Instance Host name and Instance Number nothing happens.

Also I tried to Configuring the aplication server from NWDS 7.3, but I have the same problem.

I don’t found diferences in this configuration between PI 7.30 (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/49/d0c669df7e73ffe10000000a421937/frameset.htm) and 7.31 (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/49/d0c669df7e73ffe10000000a421937/frameset.htm).

Thanks In Advance

Regards

Hi Michal,

Thanks for your support. I deployed in JSPM succesfully.
But It´s possible to fix the situation in NWDS.

Do you have  firewall port disabled between your pc network and SAP PI server based on the sap link you shown?  Please check.

Hi Baskar,

Thanks for your support.

I´m working in windows and I disabled the firewall.

Did you know the port to which you mean for asking IT team in PI side.

Are you able to configure for other PI servers from the same NWDS version? If so, you might have to see the difference in connectivity between NWDS and PI servers.  This should work for all the servers. What I wanted to see whether PI port ex 50000 is disabled from you windows network? windows admin can ping and test this. If so,you cannot view the PI even if you configure with hostname and instance number.
