Hi Ajeesh,

You can transfer your standard cost estimate to COPA with cost component wise.

a. Select Valuation Strategy 001 in KE4U

In DETAILS tab: Assign it to  Check Mat Cstng, and Qty Field = ABSMG

In Assignment tab: Assigning 001 to Point of valuation 01 and Record Type = F

b. Creating a costing key in KE40

Check : Transfer Std cost estimate

Period indicator =Current Cost estimate acc to entry in mat master

c. assigning costing key to material types in KE4J or KEPC and

d. assigning Cost Comp Structure to Value field in KE4R

Hi Ajeesh,

The config will impact to new data not for old data and If you have linked your Overhead activity in different value field in KE4R tcode and Other steps as mentioned ABOVE.

It will apppear.

1) Request you to create sales cycle till billing and also check the materials whether material cost estimate contain Overhead cost in CK13N under cost component.

And the cost component must be the same which you linked to value field in KE4R.

AND ALSO CHECK COPA DOCUMENT IN BILLING DOCUMENT.

Hi Ajeesh,

As per costing key settings.

Syste mis able to read cost component wise cost otherwise system will gives you the error.

what i am thinking Material overhead cost is not linked with this material in CK13n.

Pls check CK13N of the same material and check Material overhead cost component as well.

If material overhead as a cost component doesn't have value in CK13n then system will not update the material overhead value in COPA document.

Yes It will be 3 and also attached ck13n is item level not a cost component level.

Go to ck13n click on COST from menu bar and select 'DISPLAY COST COMPONENT'.

CHECK WHETHER YOU HAVE VALUE THERE OR NOT THE SAME VALUE WILL SHOW YOU UNDER VALUE FIELD IN COPA DOCUMENT.

Hi Ajeesh,

This is tried and tested things.

I dont know. What you are missing in your process.

CK13n screen shot attached is item level not a component level.

click on cost from menu bar in ck13n and select cost component .There you can see where your overhead cost 9100005 cost element is clubbed .

Hi,

You value field name is same for all the cost components ?? As per above KE30 report for Cost of Production & material overhead cost there are 2 different value fields so accordingly you will have to assign 2 separate value fields.

Hi Ajjesh,

There are two things.

1)You have assigned VPRS condition type to value field as whole cost

2) Through costing key you are transfering whole your cost of material in different -2 value field

so pls assign all your cost component in different value field the way you want to club your cost.

so after billing you have total cost flow from VPRS

and material cost component wise assigned to different value field.

note

Value field assigned to VPRS condition type and same value field assigned to vprs  will not be assigned to KE4R.
