Migo inbound and outbound (SAP MM)

HI   When to use Migo inbound and outbound  in SAP MM. Kindly explain.

Hi Sathya,

MIGO with Inbound delivery :-If Vendor Creates Inbound delivery against PO,in this case store person can take goods receipt against Inbound delivery

MIGO with Outbound delivery :

In case of Stock transfer PO,Goods receipt(101) is taken by store person against Outbound delivery. also Goods Issue (601) can be done to Customer against Outbound delivery.

GR against Inbound:

When there is a Order Acknowledgement required against the Purchase Order, and an inbound delivery is created in turn for it. The MIGO transaction can be used to post the Goods Receipt for the Inbound Delivery of the Purchase Order. Although you can post the GR in the Change Inbound Delivery transaction (VL32N) as well.

GR against Outbound:

When there is a Stock Transport Order for which there is an Outbound Delivery for the Inter Company Process. GR can be posted against the Outbound Delivery.
