    Hi Nikhil,

    Please check BP_HEAD_SEARCH/SearchHelpWindow window of BP_HEAD_SEARCH component, in this window there is a inbound plug IP_AUTOCOMPLETE(), check the following line in this method

    lv_comp_controller->typed_context->ui->set_searchcollapsed( attribute_path = '' value = lv_abap_true ). (line no: 14)

    this line of code is hiding the search criteria.

    TO show the search criteria by default you can either enhance this window and redefine this method and add the following line at last

    lv_comp_controller->typed_context->ui->set_searchcollapsed( attribute_path = '' value = space ).

    OR

    you can also redefine the DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT of search help viewset or search help view and write the same line. you may need to take care the conditions in which this line should execute.

    I hope this would resolve your issue.

    Regards,

    Ajay
