Latin1_General_CI_AS is supported by SAP B1 8.82?

Dear all,

I need to upgrade a SAP B1 8.81 PL 06 installation to SAP B1 8.82 PL 07.

SQL Server 2008 R2: COLLATION: Latin1_General_CI_AS

Is this collation correct to upgrade to SAP B1 8.82?

I know that if the collation is not correct, the upgrade fails...

Do I have to unistall SQL Server 2008 R2 and reinstall it setting the collation: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

Best regards

     Emanuele

Hi,

you must use SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS when you install  SQL 2008 R2 and then install SAP B1 8.82

If not, your database will fail to upgrade.

If your current sql 2008 R2 collation setting is not SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS, change it to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS before upgrade your sap b1 to 8.82

If your current sql 2008 collation setting is not SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS, change it to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS before upgrade your sap b1 to 8.82
