Hi

Do we need to tick the "filename" option in the adapter specific message attributes of the receiver file adapter if we want to generate the receiver filename based on the payload...

Do I need to tick that irrespective of whether I use 'dynamic configuration' or  'variable substituion' ?

Hi Hema,

No, you only need to mark ASMA when using dynamic configuration, it's not required with variable substitution. Have a look at the comparison in this Wiki below for more details:
