Hi Experts,
As per our system configuration, PR's would created for non available materials requests of PM orders once the MRP executes.
However if there are several orders requesting the same material, MRP would generate only One PR with total requested quantity for that material.
Is it possible to generate individual PR's separately for quantities requested by PM Orders when MRP executes?
If yes, what should be the method..
Appreciate your responses.
Thanks in advance..
Dear Sank,
It is not possible to generate the Purchase requisitions with reference to a specific PM order.
Say if there is a common bearing say X which is required 1 for PM order 1000100 and the same
bearing required 4 in nos for some other order say 1000101,now after executing MRP the system
proposes one Pur.Req for total 5 quantity for this material bearing.
This is the standard SAP behavior, but you can combine more than one Pur.Req in the same
Purchase Order. But in case if you want to identify for which requirements this Pur.Req has been triggered,in MD04,just click on the Pur.Req and use the key to understand the pegged
requirements.
Check and revert back.

Hi,
One way easy of doing so is splitting the quantity for PR's with a certain quantity. This can be achieved by maintaining a lot size with splitting and mentioning a rounding value in MRP1 view. By maintaining this value the system will split the quantity for each PR based on the rounding value.
For instance if you have Fixed Lot size, you can use FS as lot size indicator and maintain a rounding value say 100. Each time there is a requirement for 1000 quantitties, the system will split the quantities into 10 PR's and create them separately.
Hope this helps. But do let me know if you have further details.
