Variables in Query

Hi,

We defined a variable in a query, which is a selection of an account Name (OACT.[AcctName]='[%0]'), when we tried to select the account it showed the whole chart of accounts in list of existing values, but we only need to show accounts that starts in '28' (OACT.[AcctCode]) in that list, not the complete chart of accounts. How can I achieved that?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Regards.

    Hi Maria.......

It is definitely not possible to bring the filtered data into where clause in Query Generator........

But you can very well manage this in Crystal reports by using condition parameters......

    Hi Maria,

The standard query report that developed from query generator can't do that.

You can use the custom report to have such query variables.
