Protecting Inputy Sheets and Reports

Dear All,

I have this input schedule template that i have protected, however, a user was able to unprotect the sheet. Of course she wasnt able to upload it into the dynamic template folder as she does not have the right, but i do not want users to be able to unprotect my input schedules at all. Is it possible to achieve a near 100% security in the MS Excel input schedule? Kindly help.

Thanks Y'all

    Hi Oluwaseyi,

did you use the workbook option to set the worksheet psw? How unprotect the user your psw? Because it was a simple psw? Or the user use a psw cracker?

In internet you will found some psw cracker for Office, office psw protection isn't intended as strong cryptography, but BPC has also it's own security as you wrote and normally this is sufficient.

But if you want a strong security you must add VBA code with a stronger encryption decryption routines and manage the events to protect and unprotect automatically the sheets (a lot of code).

    Kind regards

    Roberto
