Transfer ofstock to stg type flagged for deletion for a given material

Dear experts,

I have detected that after flagging for deletion a material at a storage type level with transaction MM06, we're still able to transfer stock to that storage type with transaction LT01.

Is it normal situation? i want to block some material to storage type/bin. but i dont want to block storage type/bin coz still have the stock. Thanks

Regards

You are correct even after blocking the material at storage type, system lets you create the TRs and Tos for the material. This is standard behavior.

Just try removing all the fields from the material master related to WH.This might be the workaround for your problem.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi SAP_1,

Then do i have to delete all the data all the fields from the material master related to WH. but the material still in use in other Storage Bin, I worry about material master removing all the fields from the material master related to WH impact on the storage bin to another.

is there any other way than to remove all the fields from the material master related to WH?

    Thanks

    Bro 😉
