When creating Position in SAP HR Error shown SAVE was cancelled

Dear Frds

When creating New Position in SAP HR Error is thrown " Save was cancelled ' and position is not created ,i have checked the number range object through T-code:- pp05 in Subgroup............ $$S

Number range is already maintained

No From No To No Current No

IN 80000001 89999999 80002400

Please sugegst for the Error is there any notes we have to Applied .

    Can you check the 01$(01-active plan object) is having the number ranges? also please share some screen dumps to understand more about the config and process.

      Hi

      From your screen shots,still you are keeping $$S as subobject , when you are working on OM the plan version is 01-Active plan, the object number range will be taken from this table with 01followed with Object type S as suggest you need to copy the $$S to 01S and then only the system will give correct details.

      I'm sure why the system is taking the number range as 5000 because $$$$ subobject the internal object series is starting from 5000.

      If you can not do these settings, you can not expect your result.
