Hi,

The start of planned working time is 8 a.m. for the daily work schedule

DWS1. Employees can take a break after 4 hours, i.e. at 12 a.m.

You are using Dynamic Break schedule this is how we use After Column

Means after 4 hours he can type 1 Paid hour of break .

Thank you Raja Shekar. I was assigning start time as 10 and End as 10.45.. i.e a 45 mins break. and i was also assigning a break after 4 hours . How do i handle this scenario. This is the issue im facing. Actually I need to assign 45 min in the Unpaid section and need to give another break in 4 hours. How can i handle this ? Do i need to create 2 entire?

Hi,

Below mentioned screen shot is for Fixed breaks this is just and example you can specify your own breaks in the following so employee can take breaks 2 times in day.

You can use many breaks in one DWS using Sequence 01, 02 , 03

Below mentioned screen shot is for Dynamic breaks this is just and example you can specify your own breaks in the following so employee can take breaks 2 times in day.

After 4 hours he can take 0.25 of unpaid break

After 6 hours he can take 0.75 of unpaid break

Breaks : Four type of breaks Fixed , Dynamic , Variable , Overtime.

You are trying to use two different break combinations for one DWS .

We can assign only 1 type of break for one shift .

In your case you are trying to assign Fixed and Dynamic breaks which is not possible(Experts plz correct me if i am wrong in this statement)

Thank you Raja shekhar and Vivek. I get the point now and have made required changes. Thanks for the help and inputs.

The solution was 2 different breaks cannot be assigned in the same row. I had to create 2 different rows with number 01 and 02 and separated the issue.

Points awarded. Thanks.

Hi,

The error that you are getting is due to the break combinations. You are giving two different kinds of breaks as one single entry.

If your break schedule starts at 10:00 am and ends at 10:45 am, the configuration would be:

If your break is a dynamic break 45min for every 4hrs from start time it would be:

You can give the both the breaks with the sequence no. as 01 and 02, which would fulfill your requirement.

Hi

You can see a below sample break work schedule,30 or0.50 min is a paid break..and you can keep your start time 10 and end time 10.45 and at paid you can say 0.75 hrs

Are you trying to create variable break with a range of 10 as a start date and 4 as a End date?

Once you create the above break the same will be linked to DWS.

Hope this will help
