NW 7.0 with ORACLE 10.2.0.4.0 System OS upgrade AIX 5.3 TL9 to 6.1 TL7

Hello Experts.

We have AIX as Operating System and almost complere landscape is on SAP Netweaver 7.0 [ of greater than 7.0] System running on AIX 5.3 TL9 SP8. We are upgrading the complete landscape Operatign System Upgrade from AIX 5.3,TL9 SP8  to AIX 6.1 TL 6.1 TL7.

I have gone thru PAM - Everythig is in synch & looks good.

Do you have any specific suggessions, any specific checks we  must carry on after AIX 5.3 to 6.1 , any parameters ...any ....?

Thanks in advance & a line of you thouhgts / advise adds lot of support for the upgrade challenge.

I suggest you go through the following notes

Note 1087498 - Support for AIX 6.1

Note 1137862 - Using SAP systems with AIX 6.1

Check the Oracle specific sections in the notes mentioned.

Also check the oracle documentation for fileset requirements on AIX 6.1 for Oracle 10g.

Once you upgrade the OS to AIX 6.1 TL7 , ensure to relink the oracle binaries as user ora<sid> and running relink all
