Hi Mark,

If your priority is not for the reserved order then reverse those order to create stage by changing it by read PP master data and the reservation will automatically reversed.

And release the new order, by this you can resolve your issue in simplest form.

Dear Lee,

Does it mean, the production order is still in the created status itself and as there are missing

parts, you are unable to release it?

It must have been configured that if there are missing parts, the order should not be released.

There is no way to skip this unless changing the configuration settings in OPJK for the order type

and plant combination for the business process 2 - availability check during order release.

What do you mean by proceeding? is that to release the order, save it and proceed to confirmations?

Revert back with your requirements.

Dear,

Production order or process order reservation are system generated. You can not change this standard behavior of system.

What  i can do to process this particular production order ?

Can i delete the other reservation or ignore them so i could proceed this order ?

System generated reservation you can not change or delete it.

You have to set TECO ( Technically completed ) to other production/ process order then system put deletion flag for these reservation. After that you can execute the other order. And you want to execute previous order then revoke TECO and execute the same.

Hope it will help you.

Hi Mark,

Are you using Make to Order processes? And is the referred component stored with account assignment?

If yes, you need to move the component stock from the current SO/Project stock to the new one to allow usage here.

If you are using Make-to-stock processes, the existing reservations for the components do not block the new order processing... we may get the availability check issues only.

If you are not able to create or Release the production order because of the non-availability of the components, but you want to,... you can change the configuration setting for availability control in OPJK - Collect. conversion/Release material field entry - Set to '2' during Order creation and Release.

With this, we should be able to use the components for any order that consumes first:)

Kindly test and share your feedback.
