Hi Experts,

MSC3N In Classification General Tab is missing. I have attached the screen for material for which this general tab is not missing.

After maintaining what values I will get this general tab.

the classification screen will be missing in MSC3N if you have not maintained any batch classification (class 022 or 023) in your material master before you created the batch.

Classification can have any value, it just depends what characteristics you want for the batch classification. their are sap given characteristics which can be used or you define all characteristics by yourself.

    Hi Kiran,

Plz check the classification view in MM03 of that material whether class and class type has been maintained or not.

General Tab in MSC3n is directly linked with classification view of MM03

    Regards,
