Hi All,
I am installaling the new Solution manager 7.1, I have to register the satellite systems in the solution manager system editor.
The following Landscape is availabe here:
1. Solman 7.1
2.
Satellite \ Managed systems |
---|
ERP 6.0 |
Portal ( ESS/MSS, MS Outllok(OWA), ADS, GRC, SAP Inbox, Universal Work list, Learning management tool) |
GRC |
BW |
Now my doubt is whether I have to menctioned my ERP system as Normal Or HUB in Solution manager system editor. Suppose if I menctioned ERP system as HUB, then I have to menctioned the PORTAL system as Normal system. Please give me idea about other systems menctioned above.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi
Please check this link:
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMSETUP/System+Landscape+Maintenance+with+SLD+and+LMDB
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMSETUP/Maintenance+of+Product+in+the+System+Landscape
If you are using the system as HUB means if you are using it for multiple systems then you have to mark it as HUB. otherwise as normal system.
Also don't worry much about missing out something on Product Versions or so, as in Solution Manager SP05, SAP has provided Landscape verification tool which check for the verification and assigns missing product versions:
This you can check in:
Solution Manage Administration Workcenter-->Select Landscape Tab in "Overview"
In "type selection": Select- Product systems:
Then just select product system goto Edit mode-- Execute Verification check.
Reward points if this is helpful.
Best Regards
