Hello Experts,
We currently have a requirement to display all data in thousands ('000s) in all our reports. However, the data being loaded into BPC is not in that format.
For example, we are loading the data as sales revenue of $1,234,267.89. However, in our reports, we would like to display this amount as $1,234.27.
Please let me know how we can achieve this in the new EPM Add-in.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Best regards!
Hi,
for showing the numbers without 3 zeros you should go to the format sheet in the emp add-in and select the cell that holds the format of the value , right clic and choose cell format, after that Select Custom from the Category list, and in the Type box enter "#,##0,"(commas can differ with your regional settings), finally refresh your report to see the changes.

Hi Guillermo,
Thanks for the response. That was very helpful.
In addition, I also would like to insert empty rows and columns in between reports. For example, Report 000 has a local member in column J, and I would like to start Report 001 in column L, leaving col K blank.
(I know that in BPC 7.5 we can get this to work by manipulating the row and col key ranges). However, when I create the report 001 in BPC 10 in col L, the col K is being eliminated by the system, and instead the report "moves" to col K. Could you please provide any direction on this?
Thanks in advance for your valuable response.
Hi,
For doing so you need to use the function EPMInsertCellsBeforeAfterBlock that let you put blank cells whererever you want. For more information about that function you should see the
EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office User Guide.
Hope it helps,
