how to enable parallel extraction for Master data

Hi All,

I am trying to activate parallel extraction processing for master data in DTP. I have changed the setting

Goto->setting for batch manger->number of processes -> set to 3

but in DTP, on execute tab only two option are coming . Serially in the Background Process and serially in the Dialog process (for debug)

There is no option for parallel extraction in DTP . Any one can help , parallel extraction for Master data in 7.x flow.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Manoj .

this also depends of the datasource. it needs to support parallel extraction before you can choose this option.

you can find links for more documentation in this thread.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply..

    I have checked all these.

I have tried the Semantic group option and it worked for Serial Extraction, Immediate Parallel processing but it is only to one DTP. To do this, the setting for each DTP has to be changed.

I am trying to find the global setting for DTP to do parallel processing without using semantic group option in Master data.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Manoj.
