hi,
Have defined a new integration scenario. After assigning business systems (under 'service without party' tab), defining a new communication channel. In the edit screen for communication channel the entry for "Integration Server" is not showing up as one of the choices for the "Adapter Engine" field ("parameters" tab). What could be reason for this?
I am defining a sender file adapter with File system and File as transport and message protocol. According to the example i am following - the entry for integration server should also show up in the drop down for adapter engine. Please help.
regards,
SK
Hi,
did you check both the SLD (Technical System Browser -> Type: Exchange Infrastructure) and the RWB's component
monitoring, as Robin suggested.
It looks like the Integration Builder Directory cannot retrieve the required info from the SLD.
To test the Dir-SLD connectivity clear the Directory's SLD cache (from the tools menu) and try to import a Business System from the SLD into the Directory. Does that work?

HC

Hi,
does anything show up at all? Perhaps the Adapter
Engine registration on the SLD failed?
What SP are you on?

Hans,
No entries show up in the drop down for Adapter Engine. We are currently on SP 9. How would i go about making sure that the adapter engine has been registered properly.
Also not sure if makes a difference but the business system for which communication channel is being defined is a third party system.

SK
Robin,
All components you listed are showing up as installed products in the technical system browser. Also XI client was set as the integration server (as per the post installation activities).
I am still unable to see the integration server entry in ID communication channel screen. Any suggestion???
regards,
SK
