Hi Experts,
for a report an looking for logic,
business wants AUM display by converting Liters x Strength ( 100 liters x 90%) = 90 LAAs
and checked in material master for Base unit of Measure = L
and checked in Additional data for conversion, i see AUM L and LAA maintained
spoke with ABAP team, they informed that AUM is pulled from MARM and strengtn is pulled from Classification,
so my question is which one should be considered for AUM diplay,
any suggestions ??
Hi Thanks for the replies,
and clarifications,
one last step am stuck up
I informed about this conversion login in additional data to ABAP team, and now they are confused, since every material has different conversion set up in additional data,
so which way should i tell the ABAP team to look to in AUM conversion data, as of now i do see only unit display, but client wants value and unit display both,
need help in connecting AUM value display conversion set up login, any idea ?
Thanks

Hi all,
Checked in table MARM,
Alternative unit of measure - LAA
Numerator UMREZ
Denominator UMREN
both has got different values, what does these values, since when i check in material master i do see the same values in additional date alternate unit of measure conversion
now my question is do i have consider these Numerator and Denomoinator values for conversion factor,
final field required is AUM = L x Strength(LAA)

When you say classification view, are you referring to batch classification or material classification?
Based on this the report logic will differ

I hope you see the quantity to the unit as well in the batch classification.
if so, then you get your values from table AUSP
You need to consider both.
The unit LAA maintained in table MARM is just another unit. Your actual value in LAA comes by multiplying base unit value by strength which is what your alternative unit of measure is (in your case).
For example milk, if it's more diluted they can only make less dried milk, so if the base unit of measure is L for milk and AUM is KG and AUM = Base unit x Strength, like in your example
100L x 90% = 90KG (this is the amount of dried milk they can get).
