Hello,
Can someone make suggestions how to handle a negative interest rate on the money market deal entry screen for a deposit?
SAP immediately converts it into a positive figure upon saving the transaction.
Thank you very much for your help !
Carl
Hi Carl
To input negative interest in a standard morney market transaction is not possible. The product types 51, 52 and 55 do not allow negative interest.
You can use product type 54 where are flows can be added manually. There it is possible but be aware that you have to enter the amount and not the interest rate.
Kind regards
Juerg Heiz

Hi,
Sap has made quite an extensive development on this. Please refer to note 1657221.

Hello Juerg,
I agree for the fixed rate. However I happened to notice that if you have a variable rate, say euribor 1 month MINUS 0.25% (current euribor 1 month = 0.153%) you do get a negative interest amount in the
cash flow tab of the deal.
Best regards,
Carl
