Need assistance Crystal 2008 to access tables in NexGen Sapphire Patient Accounting application.

I am using Crystal 2008 to access tables in NexGen Sapphire Patient Accounting application.

I want to find associated data for 55,000 accounts. I am aware that the elements of an array are limited to 1,000. How can I submit all 55,000 account numbers? I am using the Formula Workshop - Record Selection Formula Editor for selection criteria, e.g. {PDRACCMAS_RECORD.CH_PNO_KEY} in [1000001.00, 1000002.00, 1000003.00].

    Hi John,

    Are you manually passing the account numbers to be retrieved using the Record Select Expert?

    One way to do this would be to create multiple arrays. Something like this;

    if {PDRACCMAS_RECORD.CH_PNO_KEY} in [1000001.00, 1000002.00, 1000003.00] //contains 1000 numbers

    then true

    else if

    {PDRACCMAS_RECORD.CH_PNO_KEY} in [100xxxx.00, 1000xxx.00, 1000xxxx.00] //contains next 1000 numbers then true

      Hi Bwuser,

      I see the functionality is designed for an end user. I think for my use that it is cumbersome. I do appreciate you expanding on your suggestion. Most of what I read was for the end user. Thank you for your time and effort.

    Hi John,

    I totally agree with Abhilash has said. But i didnt understand at the first why do you want to include 55,000 records in the record selection????

    If you want to do so then why dont you take advantage of using dynamic parameters?? You can create a Multi Select dynamic Parameter and use the record selection as

    {PDRACCMAS_RECORD.CH_PNO_KEY} in {?Parameter_name}

    See if this would help you or not

    Have a nice day!! 😊

    Regards
