Crystal Reports initializer Report Document error

Hello everyone

I use Visual Studio 2010 with the integrated Crystal Reports and have developed an app which uses a report. On my computer everything works fine, the report works 100%. However when I try to install on a test machine it gives me this error:

the type initializer for CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception Visual studio 2010 Windows 7

I also tried installing it on another machine that also had Visual Studio with crystal reports installed and it worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

How are you deploying the CR runtime?

Make sure you have all of the dependencies installed as well.

Try search here also, lots' of info how to deploy properly.

I solved it the trick was to go to Setup Properties and in Prerequisites check

CrystalReports RuntimeEngine

Anyway thanks for your reply.
