Regarding exception message

what i have to do when the system gives exception message 01 and for other material 06(start date in the past) if start date in the past means whether i need to change the start date to todays date and proceed or how i need to make the changes

Dear,

In OPPQ you can set the plant to restrict start date in the past.

If the in-house production time is greater than the lead time which is calculated via the routing. The exception message which is determined for the basic dates determination is no longer correct after lead time scheduling. Please check the same.

Hi,

Since a start date cannot be in the past in reality, this exception message is generated. MRP controller may (should) take any action to make the system simulate reality by manually scheduling the item, correcting the master data regarding shceduling or correcting the requirement dates, whereever is the violation. However these exception messages do not prevent carrying out the procurement process, creating POs, goods receipt etc.

Exception message

01 - Newly created order proposal

This is nothing but order proposal is newly created in the planning run. And no corrective action required in this case because it is just information for the planner.

06 - Start date in the past

Start date for the order proposal lies in the past, so this needs a corrective action. So here you can check to reschedule the proposal to today's date based on to meet delivery requirement. Action needed by MRP controller.
