TJ,

i dont hv any such docs... i can explain you it by words,

you select it (above screenshot) while creating a workflow.

then you will have

client initiated (start screen) and

credentials screen

on your workspace.

then make a navigation from credential screen to start screen.

once you launch the app, you ll hv login credential scrn on your device,

once you enter details

you ll move to strt screen and so on.

In case there is a step by step tutorial, the forum is not the place to ask for it. Check the official documentation, use the SCN / Google search or take a look at the provided examples on Code Exchange

Please read the SUP documentation to find out how SUP handles authentication. Look for MBO and pass credentials through to the backend.

Which would be the right place to ask for a tutorial, if I may ask? I wouldn't have asked this question on the forum before googling it. Will all due respect, this forum was my last resort. I thought this forum was there so developers could help each other out, or maybe I'm mistaken, please enlighten me???

Hi Sizo,

I wouldn't have asked this question

my post wasn't directed to your question, but to T J Amorado.

Your comment/question about the logon scenario actually should be posted as a separate question.

Hi;

How would I go about it, if I wanted to use a credential screen that makes use of your own backend data from a table within the sampledb, to authenticate users? Any ideas? I have been trying to implement this but I'm having difficulties.

Much appreciated!

I'm not sure I follow the use case, but you'd need to get the data from the database by binding an MBO's load operation/definition to a SELECT, then run an object query to get the data on the client. You can then use that data however you see fit on the credential screen.

Hi TJ.

is it possible to create a login screen in SUP Workflow? if possible how?

Who knows? Maybe the Sybase Unwired Platform community...:-)

I moved your question from "SAP on Sybase ASE" to "Sybase Unwired Platform Developer Center" as the space where you posted your question is focused on Business Suite running on SAP Sybase ASE.

Jan
