Sharepoint(2007) PIK for Businessobjects 3.1

Hi Experts,

Not sure if i have posted in the correct space/forum.. but here goes.

BO 3.1 SP2 (Linux install)

Sharepoint Server 2007

Given the above environment, I would like to know its possible to view Crystal reports in the BO repository after from Sharepoint after installing the Sharepoint PIK without logging on to Businessobjects.

My questions:

1. I understand that the Sharepoint PIK will allow me to view crystal reports in web parts. Am i correct?

2. If yes, will i be prompted to authenticate against the BO server while viewing a crystal report on the web part?

3. Where do i download the PIK for BOE 3.1 SP2?

4. Any other prerequisites to be installed before installing the PIK?

5. Any limitations with viewing crystal reports?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Depu,

    • I would look at the IOMS solution as introduced by the following blog

    • it has more feature (including SSO).
    • You can download the documentation at searching SAP BusinessObjects Integration Option for Microsoft SharePoint software
    • to get started see:

    • You can download the software at searching the same software
    • The previous PIK is not listed anymore

    Hope these answers your questions.
