Not able to Wily Workstation

Hi All,

I tried opening workstation window using URL http://host:8081/workstation and Client installed workstation. After giving user and password in the login screen the main screen wont open.

I am able to start webview.

How to start checking for this issue..?

I have Exactly the same problem

We have 4 EM and 2 of them i don't have problems to open the workstation

But the other 2 EM i have exactly the same Rohan issue

Please if you have any ideas to solve this, let us know

I have opened SAP OSS message for this. When i get any solution for this, i will post it.

What is your version of Wily Introscope?

Please check your Java runtime.

Guilherme: I am not getting any error. After giving login details the main screen i.e Console/Investigator wont open. And the Introscape Workstation.exe process is still running in windows.

TH: I am running on latest JRE.

Wily Version in 8.2.3.5 build 476583 and i am on Win 7 64Bit.

I'm running the same version of  Wily using JRE version 1.6.0

Known problems

• JDK 6u7 and JDK6u10 do not work for Workstation Webstart. Please use JDK 1.5.0_15 or later or JDK 6u5 or JDK 6u6. Alternatively, explicitly install a Workstation on your client PC.

Hi TH,

I installed 1.5.0_15 and changed Java path in Introscope Workstation.lax file to 1.5.0_15 java.exe.

Here is what i changed

lax.nl.current.vm=C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.5.0_15\bin\java.exe

But its still not working.

I have already applied this note. Wily Java heap is right now 2GB. Version is 8.2.3.5.

After checking log i get this error/info.

Are you on Solution Manager 7.1 SPx or 701 SPx?

Please try updating the LM service. To do this follow :

As per the log it seems to me that it is memory issue.

Hi,

Can you see the webview? Is it working properly?

If yes, I would still insist that you check from another computer.

The log content is not relevant and also LM-SERVICE will not affect Wily...

Hi Rohan,

Do you get a error message? Have you tried to do it in a different PC? It seems it is a problem with your Java execution and not the product itself...
