ESS Configuration steps for ERP 6.0 EHP5

Hi All,

I could not find any help document related to ESS configuration steps in ERP 6.0 EHP5.

If any of you have the latest one, please share it.

I could find only this one http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7120 which seems to be older version.

Virag, Is it possible to point to the "Record working time" screen directly skipping the ESS menu? I tried creating a WDA iView with the WDA application name. But its not working.

Any WDA application should definetly work if creating an iview from it . In case of 'Record Working Time', please ensure you give the correct properties while creating the WDA iview.

Following should be the entries during iView Creation:

Namespace : sap

Application Name : HRESS_A_CATS_1

Configuration Name : HRESS_AC_CATS_1

Also in SICF, ensure the hress_a_cats_1 service is active under /default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/

You enter the CVR and Profile name  from cac1 in SU01. thats it

just maintain it there both name
