How to add Billing number and sales order in standard 0sd_c03

Hi All BI Gurus,

I wanted to know how to add sales order number and billing
document number in 0sd_c03.i have a requirement to show billing document number
wise including sales order number in them.

1. Do we need to create a seperate dimension in cube or input them
   in any of the existing dimensions.
2. If added do we need to place both of them as line item
   dimensions or not?
3. I knew 0doc_number is in 11 data sources mapped to vbeln
   bringing sales order number and 0bill_number is in 13 data sources mapped to
   vbeln in itm data source but not in hdr data source.(i am confused)
4. Can we add all the characteristics required in standard cube and
   transport or do we need to modify the cube(Z) and again built all the std.
   update rules and transfer rules accordingly and transport them.

Suresh,

I am providing you my analysis in glimpse, suggest you to do lot of analysis on your work.

1. If you want to both sales & billing doc no - you can achieve from Billing datasource - Billing cube if you could have mapped VEGBL(Ref doc - Sales doc) with 0REFERENCE_DOC.

2.Can I know your business requirement as billing happen with delivery/without delivery.

3.Analysis on 0SD_C03 cube is at organization level(Division/Dist channel etc) nit on document wise.

Better check about this with team.

4.If you want to use business content better copy business content cube(0SD_C03) and modify according to requirement.

5. Take care about ROCANCEL property for every datasource.
