HTTP Connections to External Server

Hi Experts ,

I am trying to setup a new HTTP Connections to External Server in SAP PI with the URL https://bcibeta.stapleslink.com/invoke/StaplesMRO:receive

There are already many HTTP Connections to External Server been established in the system.

There are following steps I have done :

1. Maintained the SMICM .

2. In SM59 I have maintained the following settings , we do not require certificate for ssl connection.

But when I am doing the connection test is it showing me ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED error .

Is there any additional setting that we need to check the connection setting ?

Can you remove the https:// from the target host and try again?

Just few cents..I dont see port number. Check with your basis team and specify appropriate port number in the service no field.
