PM order confirmation through IW44

Hi Experts,

I am trying to do the collective confirmation through IW44, while doing so, it's giving me error message that dates are in future, when i am trying to change the Execution finish date, it's not allowing me to do that. It is copying the date from basic start date and basic finish date of order. This order have status PCNF as it has confirmed through IW41, but not final confirmation. While doing confirmation from IW41, the system is showing the same error as dates are in future, but there it is allowing me to change the date and then to do confirmation. Why is it not allowing to change the same in IW44...

Hi,

I checked, does not found any clue. My question is why the transaction is not allowing to change the end of execution date in IW44,it is taking the latest finish date from the operation date tab, but in IW41 it allows me to change the work finish date. In both case t gives the error for future date, but in IW41 it can be changed as said and confirmation can be done.

What is meant by Its not allowing me to do that?? Is that field is in disabled status or giving any error message while trying to change the data??

If its disabled, I asked you to check in OIZN. If any error or some other issue, cause may be something else.

Not allowing means, when i am changing the date and pressing enter button, it is taking the default value as earliest finish date and giving the error as date in future.

May be you have not marked the "Date in future" for your plant and order type combination . Use OIOR T code to check

yes  it should work in IW41 also, kindly check whether the Date in future is deselected in the "Parameter " initial screen of IW41

As i said before in the initial screen of IW41 there is PARAMETER button in the application tool bar where you can overwrite the same

In IW41 it is there, the check box is selected, where is the same i can check for IW44

one thing, the propose date setting can behave differently for iw41 and iw44, is there any setting at transaction level, if that check box is checked in SPRO then why is diffrent for both..

In OIZD, check for the field selection under PM: Confirmation - list and detail for AFRUD-IEDD

Also check the configuration under Control Parameters for Completion Confirmation about Dates in Future.
