Warranty View not seen in Equipment Master after adding Screen 110.

Hello All,

I have read past posts about adding warranty views to equipment master in the forum, however not able to add the same.

I have gone to the navigation path

PM-Master Data-Technical Settings-General Data-Set View Profiles for Technical Objects

Once I click on the above I see two screen groups

H2-Screen Group Equipment data

H3 Screen Group Functional location data

When I click on H2 and click on activity and layout of views I am able to add screen 110 for warranty, which I have done for the structure tab however when I go to create my equipment ie01 and when I click on structure I am not able to see the warranty details. Is there any other configuration which needs to be done.

Hi Atul ,

Please check is the tab active for 110 ? Also check have you ticked the warranty types & categories in your system SPRO at :

Master DAta - >Basic settings - > Warranties

Hello,

I have checked the Warranty Categories assignment, the class against the same is active, also checked the warranty types I have checked 3 boxes Dialog box for notification, Dialog box for order and Dialig box for billing request, I have checked all 3 however cant see warranty under the tab structure in my equipment data.

Is warranty a separate tab in the equipment master or does it fall under the structure tab?

No sperate tab for warranty it falls under General Data Tab .

use the subscreen 110 under General data tab ,

Hello,

I have added the screen 110 to General data tab and also checked your above configurations with regard to Warranty Types and Warranty Categories however the same is still not appearing is there any other configuration missing?

Hi,

Can you also check whether the profile in which you have assigned the warranty tab is linked to Equipment category?? in spro node "Maintain Equipment Category".

Hi,

Thanks for the reply I can now see warranty start and end dates in my equipment master,I just have one last query i need to maintain the warranty start and end dates however the start date should be my outbound delivery date which I have performed in sales and the end date I can calculate from the start date, is there any standard functionality to trigger this requirement or this needs to be handled through some business add in's, since I plan to replicate the equipments into CRM.
