How to replace PCA Extractor 0EC_PCA_3

Hi,

     We have moved to New GL and will be turning off our PCA Extractor 0EC_PCA_3 Shortly.  We are thinking that we will use 0FI_GL_14 to replace this.  Unfortunately 0FI_GL_14 does not contain a lot of the sales fields like Material, Sales Org, Sales Office, Sales Group, Billing Type, etc.    We have looked at 0FI_GL_14 and are thinking we would need enhance the extractor. 

     After looking into this a while it seems likely it's impossible to go from the 0FI_GL_14 Transactions back to the Correct Sales Order/Billings to get the information we need.   

Can anyone let me know what they might have done to replace the Profit Center Accounting Extractor 0EC_PCA_3 or does anyone know what the best way would be to replace 0EC_PCA_3 due to a New GL Implementation?    Thanks!

Hi Kenneth,

Did you try enhancing the 0FI_GL_14 considering BSEG table,

Few Sales fields including customer number is available in BSEG,

VBELN VBELN_VF CHAR 10 0 Billing Document

VBEL2 VBELN_VA CHAR 10 0 Sales Document

POSN2 POSNR_VA NUMC 6 0 Sales Document Item

Since 0FI_GL_14 extractor is based on BSEG,FAGLFLEXA & BKPF i guess enhancing this one is a do-able.Check it....

Ok, it looks like the information I am trying to extract are manual documents with no sales documents, etc.  We have a consultant configuring COPA and is going to let us know if these will flow through into COPA to give us the Customer Number we need.   Thanks for your help.

Whether the 0FI_GL_14 is the correct replacement for 0EC_PCA_3, if yes how we can get the missing fields in 0FI_GL_14.

I am not sure yet as we have not done this, but BSEG would probably be the way.
