"message: Connect to SAP gateway failed

Connect parameters: TPNAME=SAP7654321 .GWHOST=### GWSERV=sapgw##

But TPNAME = SAP7654321 not in JCO, SAP adapter lists.

Where may be saved this name?

Vlad

Hi Vlad,

The name 'SAP7654321' is the report name which is provided in RAR while defining the connector and this report name is same as the RFC destination which has been defined in the backend(R/3) system via SM59. Please check that this name is correct and matches exactly with the RFC destination.

Hi,

My SM59- RFC-ProgramName have another names.

May be "SAP7654321" is used long time ago - for testing connect...

Or it is default name?

Hi Vlad,

This is not the default name of the program or report. By default this field is empty and if you check the option for outbound connection then you need to provide the name on your own..

Hi Vlad,

Usually there is an RFC destination that is not functioning properly.
Please check the RFC in SM59 by opening it and going to menu
Extras>System Information>Target System.

Also you may check this SAP Notes:

987317 - Gateway inaccessible due to name resolution
