Hi

Please give your comments on below queries related to HANA Cloud Integration..

1. How to transport objects in HCI? Is there any feature like CTS+? Or any 3rd party application available?

2. How testing can be done? How to perform automatic testing and manual testing?

As per my understanding there are no tools available as of now for SAP HCI-PI.

But currently we are exploring the feasibility for Testing HCI with Neo SDK. Do you have any idea about the tool and procedure?

By second query is testing HCI. Is there any standard procedure to follow? or any third part tool available for testing?

Similar Int4 IFTT tool available for PO tesing automatically..

Hi Amarnath,

quick correction to your answer - int4 IFTT supports both SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI (f.k.a. HCI) - the latter since October 2017. Thanks to its open architecture design it can work also with non-SAP middlewares.

Below will give more details w.r.t SAP HCI -PI.

1) Transport Mechanism:

There is no standard transport mechanism available as of now in SAP HCI. Refer the below thread for more details

2) Testing:

As per my understanding from middleware perspective you can just take screenshot of Message Monitoring with key message details and similarly from source and target systems

For ex: In case you have interface SF EC to 3rd Party benefit vendor.

1) Schedule the interface as per your requirement ( daily at sometime or weekly or whatever ).

2) Once the interface pulls the data from SF take a screenshot of SAP HCI Message Monitoring.

3) If required take a screenshot of SFAPI or ODATA audit log in which you will be able to see the logs related to SAP HCI query.

4) Take a screenshot from target system ( may be file).

5) Also you can just have screenshot of related info.i.e. Take few employees screenshot from SF and same time compare the data produced in File and correlate both in your document.

There is no tool available as such to perform testing.You can use Quality Center or ALM to capture all the test cases if required.

I found the thread already and some more thread states no standard mechanism for transport HCI.

But here I want to give my client an SAP confirmation. So can you please share any SAP document related to transport mechanism?

I searched google and failed to find.
