Data migration from legacy to EH&S M 2.0

Hi Everyone.......we will be implementing SAP EH&S 2.0 (which is nothing but latest component extension 2.0 for SAP EH&S M) for our client.....We have to migrate hundreds of incidents and hazards which are currently in legacy system to our new solution......in EH&S 1.0 there was tcode CBIH82 to create incidents which we could use for recording and LSMW. but EH&S 2.0 doesn't have any tcode..everything happens through portal..... and note 1580000 asks to implement cut-off scenario and not data migration.........but we still have to get these incidents and hazards in SAP as per client's demand.....so please advise how we can migrate this data to EH&S 2.0?

Hi Manisha,

Were you able to Migrate the data into EHSM ? We are facing the same issue wherein we have to migrate Legacy Data from Lotus Notes into EHSM.

Wanted to know if you could achieve it.

Hi Manisha,

In EHSM 3.0 there is provision for migration. The product is in ramp-up. you can use BAPI_EHSM_INC_IMPORT for data migration from legacy to EHSM 3.0. But in EHSM 2.0 it is not available.

Dear Manisha

please check SAP marketplace. EHSM 3.0 should be available soon (actually in Ramp Up). Therefore might be better option.

To my knowledge: there is no migration scenario (report or whatsoever) which SAP supports. The new structures are different in comparison to the old one. Therefore a mapping is difficult. Actually: sorry to say: no idea to move from old to new solution.

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried debugging the incident creation functionality on portal and noticed that FM 'EHHSS_INCIDENT_WRITE_DOCUMENT' is being called at the time of sending incident. But I am not able to test that FM due to some of its parameters and no documentation is available on that. By any chance have you got any list of FMs or reports supported by EHS  M1.0 or EHS M2.0?
