Hi

Can you tell with respect to what context you are asking this question?

Are you referring to background jobs which run with user ids and you call them as back end users?

Please give the example what exactly you are looking for to help you out better.

If you are looking something related to ABAP then check below link from SAP help

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ef/d94b87ebf811d295b100a0c94260a5/content.htm

ABAP Editor

Front-End Editor (New)

Enables the new Front-End Editor mode of the ABAP Editor. See also: Front-End Editor (Source Code Mode).

The Front-End Editor is available with SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 Patch Level 10 or higher. In order to have the editor integrated into the ABAP Workbench and use all related transactions, you need the appropriate SAP system version. The first version supporting the new editor is SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

Front-End Editor (Old)

Enables the old Front-End Editor. When you work in this mode, the source code of your program is loaded at the frontend and can be edited locally. See also: Front-End Editor (Plain Text Mode).

Back-End Editor

The conventional line-based Back-End Editor.
See also: Back-End Editor.

Dear,

Front end:-

1. Create requirement or demand in MD61

2. MRP run by MD02 for a single material

3. See the result in stock requirement list in MD04.

Normal MRP run we can carry out by

1. MD02 - single item multi level

2 .MD03 - single item single level

3 .MD01 - Total planning

Back end:-

1. Planning file entry checking

2. Net requirements calculation

3. Calculation of procurement quantity based on Lot size

4. Scheduling

5. Determining the procurement elements - Planned order or Purchase requesition or Schedule line

6. Then BOM explosion for planning the lower level items
