View Latest Instance option In Live Office Connection

Dear Experts,

In dashboards while using Live office is View latest instance option ,is it useful rather than View on Demand .

Is View latest Instance option  supports authorization concept.How i have to utilize this, in case of live office connection.

Could you please suggest.

Hi Venkat,

If we select ‘On Demand’ option then the query hits the database when user clicks on refresh and retrieves the data present in the database at that moment.

If we select ‘From the latest instance scheduled by <user>’ then the user gets the data from the latest instance scheduled by specified user. If the report is scheduled weekly then in live office user will get the data from latest weekly scheduled instance. Live office user will not get the data present in the database at that moment. The data will be retrieved from the latest weekly instance.

Authorization:

If we select ‘From the latest instance scheduled by <user>’ option then no matter which user is using live office, the data in the live office is retrieved from the latest instance scheduled by the user selected in the live office ‘From the latest instance scheduled by <user>’ refresh option.

Could you please more elaborate how the dashboard ll work for every user separately.

1)What things we have to take care in case of report related to Dashboard?could you please elaborate more ?

2)How the dashboard will pickup the report related to different users?

3) How the different users ll have to maintain the same report?Could you please elaborate more?

4)what are things we have to take care while scheduling the report .So that the dashboard ll pick up the report related to their authorization report?Could you please elaborate more?
