CREATED event of BUS2012 is not triggering while creating a PO

Hello Friends,

I am facing an issue in the production environment. The 'CREATED' event of BUS2012 is not triggering while creating a PO using ME21N. Because of that, the workflow attached to that event is also not triggering. I had checked this by using SWI6 as well SWEL transactions. Both shows no trace of event triggering. This issue does not exist in the case of Quality & Development environments. Please help me in solving this issue.

Thanks & regards,

Abijith

Hello,

First, make sure you don't have a filter turned on (in SWELS).

If the even really isn't being created then that is most likely a configuration issue. You should contact the functional people to fix that.

Hi Rick,

Kindly note the following,

1. Release Procedure configurations are working fine in Production client. Even client is using ME28 to release Purchase Order, since no workflow is triggered. So no issue with release set up.

2. Agent ID assignment to Release Group - Release Code is also done and is in production client. We have checked the table entries also.

3. There must not be any authorization related issues, since even trying in DBA user, the workflow is not triggered from ME21N transaction in production client.

4. Manual trigger of event is happening without any problem in production client.

5. Even we tried workflow for sales order, it is working fine. So no production client related issues must be there.. right??

Will there be any issue, if the transport request sequence is not in order ??

Any suggestions, inputs on the above matter is highly appreciated.

Hello,

"Will there be any issue, if the transport request sequence is not in order ??"

That can be an issue. Transports into Production should go in the same order they went into Test.

Especially if the transports share objects.

- Did you check SWELS to make sure there is no filter and it (the event trace) is turned on?

- If you are able to create an event in Production with SWUE, does it show up in SWEL?

- were these events being created before? If so, when did they stop (look in SWEL).

I still suspect a configuration issue. Have your functional people look at the differences in config between Prod and Test.
