Condition Type Freez as per Document Type in PO

Dear Expert,

We are using  "P001" (Gross price) condition Type for all PO document Type. our Client require PO Condition Type Freeze as per document type wise.

Please suggest is there any way to resolved this issue. ( except authorization)

Hi,

Why you want to freeze condition type for gross price?

1st know properties of gross price which represent as material price and from  then other price components are applicable. Discount depends on gross price and in such you got calculation NET PRICE of material and from then other price element calculated such as P & F cost,Delivery cost and Insurance cost where finally you will know EFFECTIVE PRICE of Material.

So how your Gross Price of material will be freezed?
If business needed , use FREE indicator in the purchase order.

Freeze means user not to modify the gross price as per document Type.

1. If Document type "NB" than User should not to be modified Condition Type "P001"

2. If user select other than "NB" document type than user able to modify same condition type "P001".

How i can solve the issue.

Hi,

Discuss with ABAPer and design to create a  Routine( where it hase formula) for your requirement to serve your purpose(For Document type "NB" , User should not to be modified Condition Type  and  

can be modify the Condition Type If user select other than "NB" document type)

You can assign that Routine for particular condition type(which need to be freezed) in MM pricing procedure and assign in column AltCBV or AltCty.
