DESADV Implementation

Dear All,

We are implementing the DESADV (Despatch Advice) implementation at one of our customer sites.

That is when the delivery is created in Sales & Distribution, and when the PGI is complete the

output type need to be triggered and should result in creation of an idoc and should be passed on

to XI.

I have read in SAP Press Essentials by Michal Krawczyk - Mastering Idoc Bus Scenarios with SAP XI,

that it is a good idea to create a Logical system.

I wanted to know do we need to create the Logical System in BD54 as well the Ship to party as Partner in WE20.

If so why should we create both?

Can some body throw some light on this.

you only need logical system in WE20 - no need for ship to party in WE20
