Hi all,
i have assigned the controlling area & controlling area the root org.unit.
Now the sub organization unit shoud idealy inheret the details from the main/root or unit, but in place of that the sub org unit is reflecting CO Area as 1000.
Even i am not able to maintain the cost center to the sub org unit.
i have already consulted with the FI consultant but would look forward to your guidance at the same time.
Thanks.
Hi Sridhar,
Thanksf for the input...but again i am putting up the issues.
1/ i assigned the root org unit to CO.Area & Comp .Code through simple maintenace-PPOM_Old,
The sub organization unit is showing the same assignment of Root Organization Unit.
Now the case is in Org.Mgmt & Staffing - PPOME when i cheked the root organization unit is showing right assignment as this is already done in PPOM_Old, but when i check the sub organization unit, the company code is comming as 1000- defualt from customization.
why there is a difference between PPOME & PPOM_Old, how to rectify the same.
If you have any idea please guide.

Hi,
I wanted to tell u that root say ur company is XXXX
if ur assigning XXXX with the some cost centre then automatically the sub-org units will inherit the root cost centre.
If ur using PPOME use only that or if u r using PPOM_OLD use only that.
I would suggest u to use PPOME.
note: If u r maintianing cost centre to the sub unit then the sub unit cost centre takes priority.Inheritance from the root will not happen.
Please ensure that all the setting in V_T77s0 are in place
Hi All,
Sytem is throwing a message that "Controlling area is integrated with enterprise Organization.
But it is allowing me to save the data.
I have used PPOM_old-Simple maintainenance to capture the details,in PPOM_Old correct assignment is coming as per CO.Area & Comp Code Concerned.
but wen i check the Sub Org unit account.assmnt in PPOME it is showing the Company Code as 1000, i dont understand where it is picking up the data of comp code-1000.
PPOM_Old Looks Fine the issue is with PPOME

Hi,
After creating the org.unit and the sub units assign the master cost centre using the account assignment.
Then create positions within the Sub units.
Then when u create an employee, assign the position to the employee.
after entering the position,u be able to see the cost centre field of Infotype 0001 will be filled with the cost centre assgined to the Root org unit.
Please check and revert .
Hi Sreedhar,
As mentioned i have maintained the Integration field.
Comp code for the root Org.Stracture - iam able to get the data, but all the Sub org.units are not inherating the data of Root Or.Unit.

sub Or.Units are picking up the Comp.Code along with the Pers.Area & sub area.
But when it comes to Controlling area & master cost center its thowing the msg that

Please guide.

Hi,
I hope u are using OM .If so please check the infotype 1 for the cost centre. If it not getting populated automatically please chaeck the switch
PLOGI ORGA in v_t77s0.
This is the integration between the PM & Om
You re right,That the sub.org units will automatically inherit the root cost centre
