Asset Master

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement from the client that while creating assets in AS01, the Account Determination  field should be filled by the user instead of automatic filling up by the system due to other back end settings. And that is why the field comes in displayed mode.

So, can you suggest that how to change the field status of the Account Determination Field to Required mode?

not feasible. the account determination is linked with asset class. Choosing the asset class should be sufficient. If it isn't, you should create more asset classes.

I think, its not possible as mentioned by Nicole.As this field will be fetched from Asset Class to Account determination assignment whic we are maintaing in the configuration and from the backend it will fetch the Account determination.

I checked the screen layout for Asset Master, it is already required for Account Allocation.
