Hi Experts,
We are in 8.81 PL:07
We are using approval process for banking and logistics documents.
Our requirement is ,when the final approver is approved the document , the document should be added automatically instead of returning back to the originator unless until it is rejected .
Is it possible in SAP B1 ?
Thanks in advance,
Dwarak.
Hi Dwarakanath,
Let the approver himself add the document after approving the same.
Thanking you

This such a poor procedure on sap, we have sales orders going for approval to users who only have a finance license which means they can't save the sales order document. You also can't configure the approval alerts to go to someone else apart from the originator to resave the approved order. Very redundant procedure and highly inconvenient for companies that integrate SAP with other Sales force companies for keying in orders as someone else with SAP access has to always be manually checking for approved orders in order to resave them.
Hi Dwarak.......
You need to simply add the Document just after approval.
Then draft approved document will be added automatically.
Ask Approval authority to add himself if the data in the document is entered perfectly......

Rahul

Hi Dwarakanath,
Yes it is possible but in a different way.
Once the final approver opened the Request for Approval screen, first he should change the Decision to 'Approved' and then click the orange arrow mark in the Document No. field which will open the Document saved in Draft form.
Here the final approver can 'Add' the document directly without sending back to the originator.
I hope you are clear now.
Thank you,
Hari
