Calling BADI from smartform

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to call a BADI from Smartform???

I'm not familiar with BADIs and object oriented implementations, but would like to know as more as possible about how to use smartforms with BADIs.

Hi Barna,

I am confused. Did you want it the other way around. Smartforms in BADI's. Should be possible theoretically - although I have never done this personally.

BADI'S are similar to user exits, rather Object oriented equivalent of user exits.

Yes, it's maybe confusing, but that's was one part of my question. Maybe in the other way is more easier to figure it out, and could be interresting for me to find it out how to do it. If I want to call a smartform from a BADI how can I do that? Is there any special technique?

Hi Barna,

Just the usual way I guess. Call SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME to get the fm for smartform and call it in the BADI.

That could not be a problem for me. I thought about something more complex, since I don't know Badi technolgy.
