where screen data is stored in project management

Hi All,

First time working with Project Mgt system . I need to read some screen info like i have to fetch the name of the person in basic data tab and send email to him . Furthermore i have to read the tex from notes tab .

I have no idea how i can read this info .

yes thanks and where i need to look for , to code some functionality . I m not seeing any information for a report behind in this technical information .

Hi Linda,

check the BAPIs for cProjects in transaction SWO1, search for BUS271*. That will probably be the esiest. They are all quite nicely documented.

For your purpose BAPI / function module BAPI_BUS2172_GET_DETAIL should be useful.

But to code the functionality i think the web dynpro comonenet associated with that could be suitable . But so far the problem is during debugging i could not find appropriate place to write the code for the new functionality on the click event .
