Planned orders issue

Dear Gentle man,

We have scenario as below

Sales order Qty is 16 no's

Delivered qty is 14 no's

Schedule line category is CP (for all 16 no's)

There is no sales order  stock in  FG or open production orders  WIP level,

System has to generate planned orders for 2 nos,but actually it's not generating after RUN MRP by using T.code MD02

please share your views

Hi Arun,

Good that you do not find any 'Reasons for rejection' entry for the line item.

Can you check the following as well -

• VA05 / VA05N - Enter the Material number and other org entries, choose 'Open orders' and execute --> Do you see this particular Sales order/Line item (balance qty) showing up?

• MD04 - Does the open quantity from this Sales order line item show up?

• Sales order Header and Line item Status
  • SO - Goto - Header - Status
  • SO - Goto - Item - Status

• Sales Order Line item - Under delivery tolerance
  • SO - Goto - Item - Shipping tab

• Do you see any delivery block (Schedule line tab) or Credit block or Billing block, etc.,?

• Any incompletion log for the line items?
  • SO - Edit - Incompletion log

Hi,

System will generate the planned order only if the production order is having status as DLV with 14 quantity. In that case system will generate the planned order for 2 qty. Also sales order should have open status.

In VA02

check the  Reason of rejection Field in Item data

Do you have any entry

This will block the requirement to pass MRP

and aslo check the  oredr reason in sales tab in Overview screen

Dear Arunkumar,

If my understanding is correct then without mentioning any planning strategy in the material master,you

must have created this sales order.

Now in this case check what is the current un-restricted stock for the material in the plant,if it is more

than or equal to 2  means the system does not creates any planned order.

Can you check this point and revert back?

unrestricted stock 7 nos available but in different sales orders,

Planning strategy maintained as Planning without final assly

Individual/collective requirements kept as blank in MRP 4 view

Hi Arun,

Have you delivered the production order partially?or do you have any scrap recorded for the production order?

If the production order is delivered partially then continue the GR for the remaining quantities.

Let me know the outcome.
