SAP IDM: MyAttributeClass.java Compiling Error

Dears,

I have followed document VDS-Accessing Databases 7.2 and could successfully perform all the configurations.

However, when I tried to compile the java file: "MyAttributeClass.java" it gave me below error:

Compiling MyAttributeClass.java
Unrecognized option: -target
Could not create the Java Virtual Machine

Has anybody faced the same error? Please advise how this can be resolved.

Hi Faisal,

Please make sure that you've configured the Java options correctly in VDS. If you're still having issues, please post screenshots of your VDS Java setup.

Hi Faisal,

You could try using the embedded compiler option or try Oracle Java. Sometimes the SAP Java variant isn't so good for VDS.

Also, how's your classpath set?
